My research covers the reacting flows modelling and numerical simulation in the context of innovative and green propulsion systems. Special attention is given to chemical kinetics and its interaction with fluid dynamics in modern combustion paradigms. The main goal is the physical understanding of the processes that characterise combustion phenomena, those being either kinetics and/or diffusion/convection driven. My teaching activity involves lectures in the courses of "Aircraft Engines" and "Gas Turbine Combustors" (MSc Aeronautical Engineering)
